TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General terms

For renting a campervan a Lessee must provide a valid driving license and his/her document (ID card or a passport).  The Lessee of the campervan must be at least 21 years old and have a valid B-category driving license at least for 3 years. In case of the class A fully integrated models (LUX) it is required to have a driving license at least for 5 years. If you wish to rent the vehicle under the name of a company, the contract must be signed by a board member or a person authorized for that purpose, by submitting a corresponding and suitable letter of empowerment to the rental company together with the documents certifying the validity of the letter of empowerment (letter of empowerment, letter of guarantee, copy of the B-card of the commercial register). In such a case, in addition to signing the lease agreement, there is also a surety agreement by which the user of the vehicle guarantees the obligations assumed by the company.

The Lessee will be handed over a refueled, cleaned and technically in order campervan. When receiving the vehicle, we recommend that you carefully inspect it and record any damage or defects found on the vehicle (including scratches, missing or broken equipment, etc.), otherwise you may remain liable for any injuries / defects that existed on the vehicle before it was used. The Lessor shall not be liable, directly or indirectly, for damages that may occur to the Lessee due to a technical failure of the motorhome and/or if the trip is interrupted or delayed due to the above.

The motorhome is handed over to the renter with a filled fuel tank. When returning a motorhome with a tank that is not full, a fee for each liter of missing fuel will be added to the rental fee according to the valid price list of Circle K and a fee for refueling of 42 EUR (including VAT). The Lessor has the right to deduct the given amounts from the deposit. Damage caused by incorrectly refueled fuel shall be compensated by the renter.

 

Booking, deposit and payment

Camping car reservation fee is 30% of the total cost of the rental period, minimum of 300 EUR. Booking is considered affirmed when a reservation fee has arrived on AD Consult OÜ or MOTORHOME.ee OÜ bank account which must be done within 3 days after the booking is approved in writing by the Lessor or if the Lessee has received a respective invoices for the intended purpose.

When booking during the high season (in the period from 01.06. to 31.08.), making a reservation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period, the Lessee pays 50% of the rental price when booking.

Reservations confirmed to the Lessee may be changed from the date of reservation until at least 90 days before the start of the agreed rental period, and only if the Lessor is able to offer alternative options and the alternative reservation corresponds to the original amount. The booking fee is not refundable but is included in the rental fee. In case of a cancellation by the customer, the customer is responsible for the amount of the booking fee and the booking fee will not be refunded.

The Lessee of the campervan pays a deposit of 700 EUR (family või comfort class vehicles or 1250 EUR (comfort+lux class vehicles) or 2000 EUR (Frankia), which will be returned to the Lessee upon termination of the contract and in the absence of damages or other non-compliance with the contract.

The remaining renting fee and deposit are paid before the start of the lease period according to the terms agreed in the lease agreement. The final settlement takes place after the return of the vehicle to the Lessor. The rent can be paid both by bank transfer and in cash.

The rental price includes the cost of oils, maintenance, compulsory motor third party liability insurance and a full comprehensive insurance. The rental price does not include the cost of fuel.

 

Insurance, liability to third parties

The rental prices of the campervans include comprehensive car insurance (accident, vandalism) with the Lessee’s deductible of 1000 EUR and theft insurance with the lessee’s deductible of 15% of the vehicle’s cost (vehicle value is specified in the lease agreement). The tires and wheels of the vehicles are not insured and the Lessee bears full material responsibility for both the tires and the wheels. In the case of larceny or theft of the campervan, the Lessee is obliged to present the car keys and the vehicle registration certificate. The larceny or theft must be registered by the Lessee at the closest police station to the place where the larceny or theft took. In the event of a traffic accident, the Lessee is obliged to report it to the police and take written proof of the accident, together with an explanation of the circumstances for the insurance. The rental company must also be contacted immediately (contact information can be found in the rental agreement).

All claims from third parties caused by the Lessee and/or campervan’s users during the rental period (e.g. traffic violations, parking fines, late payment decisions, car transfers, etc.) are also to be fully reimbursed in arrears by the Lessee and/or the users of the vehicle. The processing fee of liquidating rental damages is 50 EUR. The processing fee for traffic fines is 10 EUR.

 

Vehicle delivery and return, rental period

The rental period starts on the first rental day from 2PM and ends on the last day of the rental period no later than 11AM, unless the parties have agreed otherwise. Late arrival penalty: 15 min up to 1 hour – 45 EUR; 1-2 hours  – 100 EUR; more than 2 hours – the Lessor has the right to add an additional fee for one rental day to the rental amount. If the Lessee is more than one day late in returning the vehicle, the Lessor has the right to demand double rent for the delayed days. In case the Lessee wishes to return the vehicle outside normal working hours, on Sundays or public holidays – it is possible only on previous arrangement and for additional fee 50 EUR (to be paid in cash at the spot).

The campervan is returned to the Lessor by the Lessee after the interior has been carefully cleaned, the sewage tank and the toilet cartridge have been emptied, similar to what the car was at the time of renting. If the vehicle is returned without cleaning and it has not been previously agreed between the Lessee and the Lessor, the Lessor has the right to demand a contractual penalty. The price of the interior cleaning of the motorhome is 100 EUR upon reservation. The price for emptying sewage tanks and toilet cassettes is 40 EUR. Pets are not allowed in the car without prior agreement. Smoking in a motorhome is strictly forbidden. In case of a violation of the requirement, the Lessor has the right to demand a contractual penalty of 300 EUR (in the case of a Class A fully integrated model, 500 EUR). The Lessor has the right to deduct the amounts mentioned above from the deposit.

Outdoor washing is included in the rental price of the vehicle and is performed by the Lessor at its own expense.

Upon returning the vehicle, the Lessor and the Lessee shall inspect the car together. Defects that did not exist at before renting and that cannot be considered normal wear and tear will be compensated by the Lessee on the basis of the price list of the vehicle’s dealership.

The minimum rental period is three days. During the high season (01.06. to 31.08. and during school holidays) the minimum rental period is 7 days.

 

Equipment

During the winter, motorhomes are equipped with winter tires. All our campervans are equipped with GPS devices that allow the Lessor to monitor the intended use of the vehicle. According to the agreement of the parties, the Lessor shall provide the Lessee with additional equipment, the exact list of which is fixed in the lease agreement.

 

Validity of the contract

Each signed contract is binding – even if the Lessee has not read or understood it. We always recommend that you read the terms and conditions carefully before signing the contract and specify them if necessary. Subsequent claims will not be satisfied or will be settled in court.

 

Driving outside Estonia

The customer is forbidden to travel outside the European Union with the rented motorhome (except Norway, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Andorra). The respective wish must be coordinated in writing with the rental company at least 14 days before the start of the rental period.

More detailed conditions are provided in the lease agreement concluded between the Lessor and the Lessee.
